You have perfected the use of smaller weapons as defensive devices, gaining the following benefits:
- Increase your Dexterity score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
- If you wield a Finesse weapon, you can use a reaction when a creature hits you with a melee attack to add your proficiency bonus to your AC against that attack. If this causes the attack to miss, you have advantage on your next attack against that target before the end of your next turn.
