Blazefire's Magnum Opus

Focus (other), paragon (requires attunement by an Alchemist Wizard)

This very thick tome is filled to the brim with handwritten alchemical tables and formulae. It is the original manuscript of the life's work of the renowned half-elven alchemist Sira Blazefire, who founded the Archivists, and the college which bears her name. She pioneered many different techniques now in common use by alchemists all over the world.

The book is bound with heavy black leather and decorated with stamped gold foil. The cover and several pages inside have marks from exposure to acid, fire, blood, and other unidentifiable substances. Sira's handwriting consists of slanted cursive letters in elaborate shapes. The margins are full of helpful comments, such as "Only stir clockwise!", "Add one at a time!", and "Drip in the acid first!".

This book functions as a recipe book for you. Recipes for the following spells are contained within the pages: Armor of Agathys, Acid Rain, Enlarge/Reduce, Vitriolic Sphere, Transmute Rock, Water Breathing, Draconic Transformation, Plant Growth, Death Ward, Freezing Sphere, Heal, Flesh to Stone. These spells are always considered to be on the Wizard spell list for you.
