When powerful lawful beings mingle their blood with humans, or someone is born under the Bifrost, the child very rarely becomes an astralite, their being fused with the power of the stars. They have an extreme affinity for arcane magic, grasping complex magic without much effort.
The birth of an astralite, or starling, is considered a good omen in most cultures. Beings who can give rise to an astralite are exceedingly rare, as most beings of pure lawfulness are constructs. The most common way an astralite is created is by being born on the Astral Plane, or being descended from an extremely powerful sorcerer.

Astralites have an appearance that reflects their arcane origins. The following table provides inspiration for the appearance of your astralite. You can roll on the table, pick one you like, or come up with your own appearance.

Astral Magic
You gain proficiency with the Arcana skill, and you learn the Starry Wisp cantrip and the Detect Magic spell, which you can cast at will. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is the spellcasting ability for these spells (choose when you select this race).
Warded Mind
You have advantage on Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma saving throws.
Darkvision
The reflection of the stars are always visible in your eyes. You gain Darkvision with a range of 60 feet.
