You magically distract the triggering creature and turn its momentary uncertainty into encouragement for another creature. The creature must reroll the d20 and use the lower roll.
The spell fails if the creature cannot hear you, is immune to the Charmed condition, or does not share a language with you. If the creature has advantage on saving throws against charm effects or magical effects in general, it makes its reroll with advantage.
If the spell causes the target to fail the roll, you can then choose a different creature that can hear you within range (you can choose yourself). That creature has advantage on the next Test it makes within 1 minute.
This spell was invented by Alba Aemus Cassietta, one of the founders of the Archivists.
