House Cornelii

From the Ashes

The Cornelii are the remnants of a Teccan noble family. They were one of the richest and most powerful families in the city of Tec, occupying several seats in the Senate. In the aftermath of the Empire's fall, the Cornelii fell out of favor and were exiled to Estia.

They are one of the few families that still carry on the Teccan customs and way of life. They have a manor in Covenant, where they occasionally host parties in the 'old style', with togas and cushions. These parties always attract much attention from nobles and commoners alike.

Their name derives from their ancestor, senatrix Cornelia Braccus, who was one of the most eloquent politicians to ever have graced the floor of the Dragon Curia. Her speeches are still studied at the School of Rhetoric and Oratory to this day.

The Cornelii uses a coat of arms depicts a book and a quill on a light blue field, with a purple bar on top.

Family members

Titus Regulus Cornelia

(human, LN, 72):

Lord Titus is the head of the Cornelii. He is a stern figure who commands the attention of any room he is in. Most of all, he desires a seat on the council for his family, like his ancestors' seat in the Teccan Senate.

Lucina Titus Cornelia

(human, CN, 1394-1433):

Eldest daughter of Titus and Aemilia. She loves to throw a party, and is very good at it. She is unmarried, and has had her fair share of scandalous relations, most recently with the rich (but lowborn) art dealer Alexander nan Estiae, owner of the Rogue's Gallery. Lady Lucina was killed by the Harbingers in Covenant.

Regulus Titus Cornelia

(human fighter, LN, 35):

Middle son of Titus and Aemilia. Considered the true scion of the Cornelii, as he is married and has several children. Skilled swordsman who serves as an officer in the Purple Legion.

Marius Titus Cornelia

(human wizard, TN, 29):

Youngest son of Titus and Aemilia. Followed in his mothers footsteps and studies Teccan history at the Scriptorium.

Manor Cornelii

The Cornelii live in a large single-floor villa in the Inner Tier of Covenant. It has an inner garden and a small private shrine with icons of all the Teccan gods.
