Magic is both powerful and beautiful - and I am made of magic.
Geniweave (Jenny to her friends) was born to Marietta Mageblood, a powerful wizard from Elderholm. Marietta used powerful conjuration magic to became pregnant, overcoming the usual limitation on her half-elven heritage. When Jenny was born, her mother recognised her weaveborn nature right away, and named her after the Weave.
Jenny's unique heritage gave her an intrinsic connection to the weave, the very essence of magic itself. She casted her first cantrip well before she could speak, but slowly matured into her magical ability. She now has achieved control over her powers, wielding them with a deft mind.
Jenny spent her upbringing assisting her mother in her research into various magical artifacts and phenomena. Despite not inheriting all of her mother's book-smarts, Jenny has an innate understanding of magic which makes her an invaluable asset to her mother.
Marietta was always protective of Jenny, sheltering her from society almost completely until her late teens. Once Jenny was allowed to experience the world outside their tower, she wanted to see all of what it had to offer. She especially liked making friends with others her age, talking about anything but magic. In Elderholm, her closest friend is Katie Daystone, who has probably taught her more about mundane life than her own mother.
Jenny has recently struck out on her own against her mother's wishes. She is trying to come to terms with her ancestry and lack of a father, and to forge a destiny for herself separate from her mother. The last time Jenny and Marietta spoke before she set off, they had a big argument.
Her mother always told her of the vast amount of knowledge held in the Cassietta Library in the Greystone Archive. Perhaps she could learn more about her powers there?
Appearance and Personality
Jenny's hair is bright purple, and her eyes appear to be windows that looks upon far-away galaxies. She wears the Vestments of the Weave, intricate robes of purple, gold, and black. A wand sheath is hidden in the folds of her robes, where her trusted wand of Feyberry wood rests. She mainly uses evocation, abjuration and enchantment magic.
While Jenny is clever when it comes to magic, she can be horribly naïve when it comes to mundane matters.
