This is the cloak of Loki, the Deceiver, used solely for nefarious purposes. He has been known to temporarily grant its use to mortals, usually as part of a bargain for the mortal's soul or some other major concession. While worn, it appears as billowing sheets of fuzzy darkness draped around the wearer, concealing their movement.
The cloak only functions while you are performing actions that Loki have sanctioned, and he knows the location of the cloak at all times, and can recall it at will.
While you wear the cloak, you gain the following benefits:
- You can take a Magic action to raise the cloak's hood and become Invisible. This lasts until you lower the hood as a Bonus Action.
- While you are Invisible or in darkness, only creatures who have Truesight can perceive you. While you are invisible, you can move through spaces as narrow as 1 inch without squeezing.
- Enemies that do not perceive you take 7 (2d6) additional necrotic damage from your attacks.
