Convince People Through Divine Verse

Something as beautiful as poetry must surely originate from a divine force. That is a core tenet among those who worship gods of poetry and oratory, such as Balder the Beautiful, Apollo, or Saraswati. Followers of these gods are often gifted skalds themselves, but choose to dedicate their life's work to their deity instead of seeking individual fame.

Level 3: Poetry Domain Spells

You always have certain spells prepared after you reach the Cleric level shown in the following table.

Level 3: Learned in Rhetoric

You gain proficiency with two skills of your choice from Persuasion, Deception, Intimidation and Performance. Whenever you make an ability check with your chosen skills, you can use your Wisdom modifier instead of your Charisma modifier.

You also learn the Vicious Mockery cantrip.

Level 3: Channel Divinity: Honeyed Words

When you cast a spell from the Enchantment school, you can expend a use of your Channel Divinity to cast it without requiring any verbal, somatic, or non-costly material components.

Level 6: Comforting Verses

When you target a creature with a levelled spell, you can also end an effect on them that causes them to be Charmed or Frightened.

Additionally, you gain resistance to psychic damage and you have advantage on saves against becoming Charmed or Frightened.

Level 6: Honeyed Words: Second Stanza

Your Channel Divinity: Honeyed Words is augmented. When you use it on a spell that targets multiple creatures, you can cause one of the targets to have disadvantage on its first save against the spell. If the spell only targets a single creature, you can cause it to also target a second creature within range.

Level 17: Captivating Orator

Creatures who are Charmed by you have disadvantage on saving throws you force them to make. Additionally, you become immune to the Charmed and Frightened conditions.
