House Eriliex make the majority of their money from owning and operating silk farms, mills, weaveries, dyeworks, and tailors. They supply most of the Amnoran nobles with fancy clothes, from razor-sharp riding suits to the poofiest of ball gowns.
Of all the houses, House Eriliex is the most accepting of non-elven culture, and often feature foreign music or food at their feasts. Most other houses, especially House Isneril and House Aenidin, have the opposite stance, which they often make a point of displaying.
A Eriliex-hosted feast is always a haute-couture fashion show, with the most exquisite outfits and the most elaborate hairstyles. Perhaps the most important feast of the year is the Eriliex masquerade on the autumn equinox, where each house coordinates their outfits to a theme. Last year, House Fenalar all dressed as famous Teccan emperors and empresses, and House Adhonin went as the gods, with the High Prince himself playing the part of Aegir.

Houses Eriliex and Elentirel have a longstanding mutually beneficial alliance. Many ships laden with Eriliex silk wares sail from Tel Amnora to all over the Estian Sea.
